This is not news reported from The Magic of Yellowstone.  Rather, this is news that we have compiled from news gathering sources who have stories on Yellowstone.  Furthermore a story is not necessarily non-factual if the story comes from an activist group.  Indeed, some of the only news information reported on some of these topics come from these groups who have people in the field.  What we want is for this page to be a resource for those looking for current news on Yellowstone or needing to do research on current events in Yellowstone.  For more factual research, go to The Magic of Yellowstone Fact Guide or History Guide.
What are the hot issues facing Yellowstone?  The State of Montana continues its slaughter of bison.  There is a battle in the courts about the legality of the wolf reintroduction.  Yellowstone's sewage system is failing.  There are non-native Lake Trout in Yellowstone Lake.  There are loads of other issues.  Come here to find out what is making news and comment on what should be!
